School, Suffield, CT
Project Overview
Location: Suffield, CT
Designed to support hands-on learning, this workshop classroom was built around flexibility and durability. The school needed moveable student desks with integrated storage, so we developed a custom solution using butcherblock worksurfaces paired with lockers mounted on casters—allowing tables to be easily reconfigured for different activities. Lockers and workstation components were powder-coated in Suffield Blue to create a cohesive, school-branded look.
Leg-less perimeter tables were installed throughout the room to support 3D printers and equipment, while two mobile teacher workstations provide flexibility for instruction and classroom management. The finished space blends function, mobility, and school pride—creating an environment where students can actively engage in hands-on projects.
