Project Overview

Location: New London, CT

This two-floor office project for Habitat for Humanity brought together a wide range of spaces. Specifically, that included executive offices, reception, a conference room, lounge and kitchenette areas, meeting rooms, accounting, and a marketing area. Because the client is a nonprofit, furniture needed to balance quality and function within a defined budget. The goal was a comfortable environment for both staff and visitors.

Transfer Enterprises combined new, refurbished, and pre-owned furniture to create one cohesive look throughout the building. Custom Altuva desks, storage, and conference furniture were paired with refurbished Steelcase seating and Answer panels. In addition, pre-owned conference and guest chairs rounded out the mix. As a result, the office now has flexible, dedicated spaces for focused work, collaboration, and everyday interaction. Each piece was chosen to fit both the space and the budget.
