Project Overview

Location: Meriden, CT → Cheshire, CT

After 38 years in business, New England Capital Financial Advisors had outgrown its Meriden office and needed a larger space to support its growing team. For the move to a new Cheshire location, the financial advisory firm turned to Transfer Enterprises and Meyer, Inc. to help furnish and bring the new office together.

The new office includes 10 individual offices, five conference and meeting spaces, a reception area, and an open workstation area designed to give the client service team room to grow. Transfer Enterprises provided office furniture planning, custom furniture, and a combination of new, refurbished, and pre-owned office furniture, including private office desks and storage, three height-adjustable executive desks, five powered workstations with frosted-glass panels, conference tables, and a custom reception desk.

The project also included refurbished Steelcase Leap V2 task chairs throughout the private offices, pre-owned Herman Miller Setu chairs in conference and shared spaces, and coordinated delivery and installation as the team transitioned from Meriden to its new Cheshire office. Working alongside Meyer, Inc., which managed the physical relocation, Transfer Enterprises helped create a larger, cohesive workspace with room for the client service team to grow.

  • Private Office Desks & Storage – Wood-tone laminate desks, returns, and matching credenzas used throughout the standard private offices.
  • Height-Adjustable Executive Desks – Three sit-stand desk configurations with suspended modesty panels, used in executive offices.
  • Round Meeting Tables – Steel X-leg round tables used in smaller meeting and breakout spaces.
  • Conference Tables – Two-base rectangular conference tables with integrated power, used in mid-sized conference rooms.
  • Custom Reception Desk – Reception desk with transaction counter and matching work surface.
  • AIS Powered Workstations with Frosted Glass – Five 72″×72″ powered workstations with satin white trim in the open workstation area.
  • AIS Frosted-Glass Storage Partition – Enclosed storage suite off the main hallway.
  • Santorine Leather Sofa & Chair – New dark brown leather lounge seating used in reception.
  • Starlight Executive Guest Chairs – Black mesh and fabric guest seating used throughout private offices and conference rooms.
