Project Overview

Location: Glastonbury, CT

J. Morrissey & Company, a Connecticut-based staffing and recruiting firm, partnered with Transfer Enterprises on office furniture for its new Glastonbury office. The project included reception, a conference room, private offices, an accounting office, an open workstation area for the client service team, two modular glass offices, and an executive suite.

Much of the furniture comes from Altuva, the American-made laminate line Transfer Enterprises manufactures in-house. That includes the L-desks, double-pedestal desks, conference table, and lateral files. Every Altuva piece shares the same Vincenza Oak finish. As a result, the office has a consistent look from reception through the private offices. Our team also configured each piece for its space, from left- and right-hand desk returns to strategically placed grommets and integrated power and HDMI at the conference table.

The open office combines new and refurbished furniture. Twelve Altuva workstations feature glass dividers and integrated AC, USB, and USB-C power, paired with refurbished metal lateral files topped with matching Vincenza Oak laminate. Gray leatherette executive chairs also carry through the conference room, workstations, and private offices, while the executive suite features an electric sit-stand desk and matching credenza.

Transfer Enterprises handled the furniture selection, in-house manufacturing, delivery, and installation for the staffing firm’s new office.
