Our production department remanufacturers commonly disposed of components including cubicle panels, files, and desk chairs.
We extend the natural lifecycle of office furniture through reupholstering, painting, powder coating, and wood refinishing.
Furniture, parts and/or materials that cannot be reused, repurposed or remanufactured are responsibly recycled.
Responsible Disposal of Wood Furniture, Cardboard & Metal
Transfer Enterprises has its unusable wood reduced into usable materials and our cardboard is picked up in bundles to be repurposed. Metal components are recycled at local scrap yards. The benefits of doing this helps offset the environmental impact associated with the extraction and consumption of virgin resources and production of new materials and conserve landfill space.
Sustainable Cleaning Products
The Simple Green products that we use carry the Safer Choice Label. When you see the Safer Choice label on a product, it means that EPA’s scientific review team evaluated every ingredient for potential human health and environmental effects. Safer Choice products do not contain known chemicals of potential concern, like carcinogens, reproductive or developmental toxins. All product components, like dyes and fragrances, are screened for safety.
Clean Impact Materials
Our cubicles are refurbished with CLEAN IMPACT TEXTILES™ by Guilford of Maine. These textiles are made from 100% post-consumer recycled and polyester. These fabrics can completely biodegrade at a rate similar to natural fibers in under 4 years. CLEAN IMPACT TEXTILES™ are key differentiators when it comes to specifying commercial projects that require LEED and/or WELL certifications.
